Odyssey Marine Exploration on Friday announced the recovery of more than 500,000 Colonial-era silver and gold coins possibly worth $500 million. The exploration company from Tampa has withheld details about the shipwreck, where it was found or even what kind of coins they had hauled back. [U.S.]

LONDON (CNN) -- Russian citizen Andrei Lugovoi will be charged with murder in the poisoning death of former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko, according to British prosecutors.

In a statement released Tuesday, the Crown Prosecution Service said it had sufficient evidence to charge Lugovoi and seek his extradition. Litvinenko died in November, several weeks after being poisoned with Polonium 210. [WORLD]
