Students, over the break, you must revise and re-type your feature story. Be prepared to attach the typed draft to the back of your written draft, pre-writing work, and rubric.
Please adhere to the following specs:
Assignment Specs:
1. Assignment must be typed...no exceptions
2. single space text...skip one line between each indented 'paragraph'
3. Times New Roman font, 12 point font
4. THE STORY MUST CONSIST OF NO LESS THAN 1000 WORDS.
5. Must conform to the studied and discussed AP style rules
6. Use you pre-writing inclass work to organize your story
7. YOU MUST INCLUDE A HEADLINE (SEE TEXT BOOK FOR HAMMER HEAD STYLE see p. 170)
8. Must include a byline beneath the headline. DO NOT CENTER YOUR BYLINE.
ex: By Larry Knight, Journalism I reporter
9. Must include a CENTERED -30- at the end of the story
10. Print two copies of your story.
11. Must be completed before returning to class...DUE 1/2/08
