The interviewer was very good at not leading the president to any answers, and did not interjected. With a subject that is currently affecting millions, the questions asked helped clarify a lot of unclear and misunderstood aspects of the capture. Also, he used quotes and asked Obama to elaborate, which gives America a lot of information that could help settle their emotions. This interview allowed for the president to explain all aspects of the current situation, and tie it into the government and the people, and hopefully it will give the people a sense of security and knowledge. However, the interviewer did sound a little leading when talking about the issue of trust, and a little spiteful, but caught himself, and continued to ask questions that people needed to know the answers to.
The Interview was OKAY. I noticed, at times, there was some dead air and some of the questions were repetitive, when the host asked if Obama had revealed to anyone the possibility of acquiring (or killing) Osama Bin Laden, Obama said no and the host asked if he had told the Pakistani's. The interview had some good aspects aswell, the president was a good interview subject and the topic was timely and actually interesting. The host could have asked a question or two about what the worlds perception of the attack was because I belive Obama saying they were monitoring the world. Overall, Okay.
