TONIGHT'S ASSIGNMENTS*

 I. Organize your notebook. SEE NOTEBOOK STRUCTURE CHART (on blog). AS INDICATED IN CLASS THIS SHOULD BE PRIORITY #1! 

II.Obtain TWO recent news articles. These articles must be recent (i.e. no older than 3 days). It must be clipped...PLEASE DO THIS BEFORE CLASS; ARTICLES NOT LABELED OR POSTED NEATLY WILL RECEIVE A -2 PENALTY. NO OPINION PIECES OR MAGAZINE ARTICLES.

III. Familiarize yourself with this week's current events; a GRADED Current Events Quiz (CEQ) will be administered SOON. Use the blog site as a central hub for news and information!  CEQ #12 is NEXT WEEK

IV. Complete the Chapter 2 Case Study Analysis Assignment; work on cases #1-3 according to the prescribed guide sheet. 

Please prepare to discuss these cases next class; the responses are DUE 11/6/12 (ICC/TIINC)

V. Study and review your Chapter 2 notes. Prepare for informal assessments and discussions.

DAILY ASSIGNMENTS*

 I. Review Chapter 1 and 2 topics/concepts. Read the outline, supplemental notes, and create study note cards. LEARN THE MATERIAL...DON'T MEMORIZE IT.*

II. Study chapter vocabulary. In addition, students should prepare to work on additional in-class vocabulary assignments by reviewing words nightly. For test/quiz dates see calendar in class or upcoming dates post. To prepare for the in-class study and tests/quizzes, students are encouraged to create 3x5 study cards. STANDARD [JV1]

III. Bring Materials/Supplies to class; this includes textbooks, steno pads, paper, pens, notebooks, writing journals, etc. (NO EXCEPTIONS)

IV. You should conduct a nightly/daily review of the course orientation notes. You will be expected to show adequate mastery and knowledge of all course policies and procedures.
