II. Check www.scpjournalism1.blogspot.com daily for posted AP news stories. DUE DAILY
III. Review ALL skills concepts (e.g. recognition of elements of news, use of news judgment to evaluate stories, the process of brainstorming), as well as Chapter 4 and 5 concepts (e.g. types of sources and the Devil’s Advocate organizational structure, introduced interviewing concepts). Prepare for informal skills and knowledge assessments.
IV. Now that you know the identity of your in-class interview subject, you must create a detailed interview plan for that person. This plan must be completed in the same format as the Time Tracks interview plan; however, you must provide at least 10 questions that you intend to ask during the session.
You are permitted (and strongly) encouraged to ask more during the actual interview. The questions must be open-ended and connect to the type of interview you wish to conduct and your established topic. This plan must be typed and submitted on 5/1/14 (ICC: 50 points/TIINC: 25 points)
